This policy explains what A&K Tech collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are
A&K Tech, LLC is an IT consultancy based in Chicago, Illinois, working with clients worldwide. We are the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at info@aandktech.com.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus the minimum needed to keep this site working and free of abuse.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and message. We also record the IP address the submission came from and the time it was sent — this is used solely to detect and block spam and abuse of the form, and for no other purpose.
- Direct contact. If you email, call, or message us on WhatsApp, we hold whatever you share in that conversation so we can respond and keep a record of the enquiry.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server logs, including IP addresses and pages requested, as part of operating and securing the site.
We do not ask for, and this website has no way to collect, payment details, government identifiers, or any special category data.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use contact details to reply to your enquiry, to provide services you ask us for, and to keep records of our dealings with you. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and protecting this website from abuse, or the performance of a contract where you go on to become a client.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we never sell it.
Cookies, analytics, and browser storage
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracking script anywhere on the site.
The only thing stored in your browser is a single value remembering whether you chose the light, dark, or system colour theme. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
Third parties
- Hostinger hosts this website and delivers the email generated by the contact form. They process data on our instructions as our hosting provider.
- Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google's servers (
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com), so your browser's IP address is visible to Google when a page loads. This is the only third party contacted automatically when you view the site. - Links out. Our WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook links take you to services run by Meta under their own privacy policies. Nothing is shared with them unless you click through.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions and enquiry correspondence are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless you become a client — in which case we keep engagement records for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards only as long as tax, accounting, and legal obligations require. Spam-prevention records tied to the contact form are discarded within hours.
How we protect it
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Contact form submissions are validated and rate-limited before delivery, and access to the mailbox that receives them is restricted to A&K Tech staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, card numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the contact form.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it — and we will not treat you differently for asking. Email info@aandktech.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to processing, to request portability, and to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale — and, as above, we do not sell or share personal information.
Children
This site offers business services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be summarised here.
